This is the fifth Part of The Circle of Gratitude Story series. Be sure to check out the Whole overview and introduction here. Full archives at the bottom of the post.
The Circle of Gratitude is a platform for people to create gift relationships within a community of individuals desiring to support each other.
The Circle of Gratitude is a dream that has been evolving over the last while and one in which I desire to co-create with others. I presented the above sentence in the first post of the series, along with a breakdown of each key word related to the story. In these subsequent posts I will expand further upon each word with the intention of creating greater clarity within myself and others through story, rhyme, and colourful illustrations. Enjoy the adventure!
Part Five: Watering Gift Relationships
Gift Relationships – A relationship in which gifts are given free of conditions and received in gratefulness. Think like a parent giving to their newborns. Thanks for keeping me alive! No force, pressure, or coercion welcome here.
Once started, the tribe darted, into a World of the Open hearted;
becoming kindhearted, discovering freehearted, remembering lighthearted;
moving into the uncharted, they departed, the shores of falsehearted,
by co-writing a new paradigm, a thriving life, restarted.
Rediscovering the gift, began to lift, accelerate the shift;
reversing drifting, real swifting, watering gifting;
to no longer feel adrift, but to instead uplift, and perform a collective gearshift,
by dissolving the illusory, divisive, and isolating rift.
A devotional workmanship, created deeper fellowship, a blossoming of relationship;
giving friendship, receiving kinship, collective lightship;
an expansion of membership, to include sponsorship, and a new story of partnership,
by remembering each being’s unique contribution, mental flip.
Within the trust to give, they found the ability to live, healing the div;
integrating negative, releasing forgive, rewriting causative;
to include the infinitive, an honouring of the primitive, no need to relive,
by embodying the story of inter-existence, a new narrative.
I look forward to connecting with you if you see/hear/feel yourself in this story. Follow the breadcrumbs. Thank you for your support/shares/feedback/monitude along this journey. ::)
(P.S. I wrote of this story in the past some time ago – although the concept has evolved, feel free to explore the archives for more of the back-story about living in the gift and the Circle of Gratitude – The Circle of Gratitude: Seeding the Heart, The Circle of Gratitude, Uniting Work and Play Through the Gift: Part One and Part Two).
